GEYA President's MessageThe Glenmoore Eagle Youth Association, G.E.Y.A. is a nonprofit, volunteer organization. G.E.Y.A. provides recreational soccer and baseball programs for children in Kindergarten through High School during the spring and fall. We service approximately 1,200 families in Upper Uwchlan, Wallace, West Pikeland, West Vincent and surrounding townships. (Soccer does not restrict participation from any township.) Soccer games are played at Indiantown Fields in Wallace Township, Pickering Valley Elementary School, Windsor Baptist Church, Devereux School, and the Ludwig Corner Fairgrounds. Baseball games are played at Hickory Park in Upper Uwchlan Township, Indiantown Fields in Wallace Township and Matthew Meadows in West Vincent Township. We expect G.E.Y.A. to continue to grow and would like to provide programs that keep our youth participating in recreational soccer and baseball for as long they are interested. To meet this goal, G.E.Y.A. is taking an active role to help our communities develop and maintain playing fields. Both Wallace and Upper Uwchlan Townships are planning parks and have asked for our participation in the development of playing fields. The G.E.Y.A. Board is composed of ten volunteer members: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, President of Soccer, President of Baseball, 2 "At Large" members representing Soccer and 2 "At Large" members representing Baseball. Elections are held during the October Meeting. Any parent, with a child participating in G.E.Y.A. is eligible to be a Board member and to vote an individual to a position. Typically, the Board meets the second Tuesday of the month, September through June. To accommodate the spring and fall seasons, meetings are scheduled as follows:
