GEYA President's MessageThe Glenmoore Eagle Youth Association, G.E.Y.A. is a nonprofit, volunteer organization. G.E.Y.A. provides recreational soccer and baseball programs for children in Kindergarten through High School during the spring and fall. We service approximately 1,700 families in Upper Uwchlan, Uwchlan, Wallace, West Pikeland, West Vincent and surrounding townships. (Soccer does not restrict participation from any township.) We expect GEYA to continue to grow and would like to provide programs that keep our youth participating in recreational soccer and baseball for as long they are interested. To meet this goal, GEYA is taking an active role to help our communities develop and maintain playing fields for use by the youth of our community. The GEYA Executive Board is composed of ten volunteer members: President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary, President of Soccer, President of Baseball, 2 "At Large" members representing Soccer and 2 "At Large" members representing Baseball. Elections to executive board positions are held during the October Meeting. In addition to the Executive Board, two operational boards (Baseball and Soccer) exist to manage the operational aspects of running each of the programs. For an explanation of the operational boards, please navigate to the appropriate place under the Baseball or Soccer section. Any parent, with a child participating in G.E.Y.A. is eligible to be a Board member and to vote an individual to a position. Typically, the Board meets the second Wednesday of the month, September through June. The G.E.Y.A. Board meetings are open to the public and we invite you to attend.
